Hara El Lymon — حارة الليمون

Hara El Lymon is an academic set design project that reimagines an alleyway in 1950s Alexandria, Egypt. The project explores the visual and architectural character of the period through the recreation of a distinctly Egyptian urban environment.

The design focuses on translating the atmosphere of old Alexandria into a cinematic setting through architectural details, spatial composition, materials, textures, and environmental storytelling.

The project investigates how historical research and local visual identity can be transformed into a believable theatrical environment, creating a space that reflects both the social character and visual memory of its time.
