Bridge to Terabithia is a complete art direction and scenography project developed around the visual world of the novel. The project explores how a literary narrative can be translated into a cohesive visual universe through locations, environments, characters, spatial experiences, and visual storytelling.
I developed the artistic direction of the world from the initial narrative and visual research through the creation of its locations, environments, characters, set concepts, spatial compositions, and 3D visualizations.
The project involved building a complete visual language for the story, translating its shifts between the real world and the imagined world of Terabithia into distinct environments while maintaining a consistent visual narrative.
The process included world-building, character development, location design, set design, spatial studies, 3D modeling, visualization, and scene development, creating a fully developed visual interpretation of the novel.
